Christmas. A very special birthday

Christmas marks a very special time of the year because of one very special

individualʼs birthday. Further, amazing human beings and prophets such as Buddha,

Mohammed and others have also shone a light in the darkness and led by peaceful

example. We are all blessed, every one of us, by the presence of such extraordinary

souls and human beings, not just in the moment, but for all time.

All birthdays are a special time to be thankful and grateful for all the goodness that

comes our way. It is an event that celebrates the blessings of family and loved ones. It

is an opportunity to show those we truly appreciate how dear they are to us. It is also

an opportune time to forgive, within our own hearts and souls, those who have caused

us harm and/or injury.

May this Christmas celebrate all peoples of all nations, and our united goal to achieve

world peace. May everyone everywhere be blessed with the faith, respect and love to

find amicable ways to negotiate positive resolutions to all forms of conflict. May the

whole world enjoy a peaceful, loving and truly joyous Christmas. May it always be so.
